During the design of Spaces of Mnajdra  a number of methods were used to test and visualise the temple environment including 3D modelling, interactive gameplay using the Unreal game engine and a VR ‘walk-through’ using QTVR (QuickTime Virtual Reality).

Using a modified Unreal Game engine, users could explore the 3D environment of the South Temple, pick-up and interact with objects. Demonstration created by Anamarija Djarmati, Ramon Hughes and 
Mark Hurst at The University of Queensland.
